Thanks Anne,
Is this something like the Information Literacy toolkit (and other materials) that the US DON produced in 2001?

Hello,
I'm happy to inform you about my book" Corporate Literacy - Discovering
the Senses of the Organisation" which is just this year published by
Chandos Publishing (Oxford). It introduces a new concept "Corporate
literacy" which I think could be a new facet to the field of information
and knowledge management.
Corporate Literacy refers to the comprehensive literacy that companies,
government and communities need in the fast changing and complex
environment. Emphasis is in the use of information instead of
management..The views relating to organisations, information and
knowledge are changing. The concept of literacy is also expanding. It
cannot anymore be observed only from an individual point of view. Based
on the shared skills the organisation is able to build its own
information architecture and offer its information resources for use.
In my book I'm handling such questions as what Corporate Literacy is,
why it is needed, what it is in practice in companies, government and
local communities. Also I'm discussing about information skills and
roles and what it is to manage and lead Corporate Literacy. Behind this
book is my working experience of twenty years as a consultant, designer
and trainer in the field of information and knowledge management, mostly
with Finnish companies, government agencies, universities and
ministries.
My book is available in Amazon:

I'm very happy to get feedback of my book and specially about the
concept Corporate Literacy.
with Best Regards
